Joelle Marie Wells and William Edward Lucarell were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held May 7, 2011, at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard. The Rev. Timothy O'Neill and the Rev. Edward Noga officiated the nuptials.
A reception was held following the ceremony at Leo's Ristorante in Howland.
The bride is the daughter of Raymond and Barbara Wells of Hubbard. Parents of the groom are William R. and Jacquelyn Lucarell of Girard.

Lisamarie Stefura and Melissa Backes shared the duties of maid of honor for the bride. Bridesmaids were Jen Backes, Ashley Hunzeker, Amber McCauslin, Amie DeLuca, Erin Schuler and Abby Jastrab.
Performing the duties of best man for the groom were John O'Donnel and Bill Joyce. Groomsmen were Jon Hepfner, Jim Campbell, Chuck Mooney, Justin Portik, Ron Simko, cousin of the groom, and Rick Simko Jr., cousin of the groom.
The new Mrs. Lucarell graduated from Westminster College with a B.S. in chemistry and is pursuing a master's degree in chemistry at Youngstown State University. She is employed as a bioanalytical chemist at WIL Research Laboratories in Ashland.
Mr. Lucarell received a bachelor of science degree in computer science from YSU, and an MBA. He is employed as a software engineer at the Equity Engineering Group in Shaker Heights.
Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Northfield.
