DINING WITH DIABETES: Dining with Diabetes is a cooking school and nutrition education program for people with diabetes and their family members or caregivers conducted by the OSU Extension staff.
During Dining with Diabetes, participants learn how to incorporate healthy cooking techniques and other practices to help control blood sugar.
The course is taught by Marie Economos, extension educator, Trumbull; Beth Stefura, extension educator, Mahoning; Mel Milliron, Trumbull County Health Department; and Linda Veith, certified diabetic educator.
Cost is $20 for three classes, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 14, 21 and 28, at Shepherd of the Valley, 1500 McKinley Ave., Niles.

All clinics are walk-in. There is an administration fee of $10 per visit but no one will be denied due to inability to pay. All children younger than 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Bring current shot record. All school-required vaccines will be available.
NILES HOLDS IMMUNIZATION CLINIC: An immunization clinic will be offered from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 16 at the Niles Health Department, 34 W.
