Halloween is quickly approaching which means so are the parties. Next to getting the perfect costume is picking all the treats that everyone is sure to love. Instead of bringing the same old, same old, traditional candy bars or chips, try something new.
Monster Mash is the perfect treat to make. It has something for everyone to enjoy, with gooey mini-marshmallows, crunchy graham cereal, chocolate candy pieces and pretzel sticks covered in almond bark. Monster Mash has the best sweet and salty combination. The pretzels add the perfect amount of salt to keep this treat from being too sweet.
Monster Mash is super simple to make, but extremely messy. I found it was easier to mix all the ingredients with hands rather than with a spatula or spoon. When mixing with your hands, you are sure to get the melted almond bark on every piece. If you can't find almond bark, you can also use Hershey bars with almonds. It will taste just as good. I used the Hershey with almonds and I love it.
So, whether you are hosting the party or simply attending, bring some Monster Mash. It is sure to turn some heads.
