DEAR EDITOR:
I am writing this letter because I really need to know where the next Ski Chalet will be. That is what I told my daughter I called the garbage dump in Girard.
See, she was home for a visit and wanted to see V&M's progress, so as we were driving down 422 toward Youngstown and she wanted to know what that hill was that you can see from the road and practically from anywhere in the surrounding area.
I told her I was waiting for the ski lift to be installed. Now, I see another one is being formed next to the other one. As a friend of mine said and I hear from many people who do not want one in their community and frankly I do not blame them.
But, ask yourself one question: Do you recycle? If not for yourself, please do it for the future generation. I look at the trash people put out on "garbage night" in various cities and cannot believe what I see. What takes a few moments of your time to separate and take to the recycle bins, which are in every community, is heading towards the dump.
Every city now has bins for plastic, cans, newspapers and cardboard.
So, the next time you order a pizza, open a can, finish that jug of milk, finish reading the paper, recycle.
You will be helping the environment and teaching the future a lesson.
