Krista R. Guy and John N. James were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held July 16, 2011, at the United Methodist Church in Newton Falls.
Officiating at the event was Pastor Gordon Ferguson.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Victorian Ballroom in Niles.

The bride is the daughter of Ernest and Mary Guy of Newton Falls. Parents of the groom are Dennis James of Newton Falls and Jean Jahr of San Jose, Calif.
Ashley Nickolas and Lindsay Howe shared the duties of maid of honor for the bride.
Performing the duties of best man for the groom was Matt Hogue.
The new Mrs. James is a 2006 graduate of Newton Falls High School. She received a bachelor of science in early childhood education from Ohio University and is working toward a master's degree in reading. She is employed as a first grade teacher by Charleston County School District in Charleston, S.C.
Mr. James also graduated from Newton Falls High School. He is employed as a firefighter for St. Johns Fire Department in Charleston, S.C.
Following a honeymoon to the Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Summerville, S.C.
