Pamela Walko of Canfield and Dr. Zachary Veres of Champion were united in marriage on June 11, 2011, during a wedding ceremony at Saint Columba Cathedral. The Rev. John E. Keehner and Pastor John Temple officiated the 1:30 p.m. nuptials, and a reception followed at the Avalon Golf and Country Club at Buhl Park in Sharon, Pa.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas E. Walko of Findlay and Barbara Walko of Canfield. Parents of the groom are Dr. Frank and Tricia Veres of Champion.
Jill Ulbricht attended her cousin as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Houser, Maria Palazzo, Crissy Antal, Katelyn Esposito and Julie Walko. Adeline Judson, Meredith Judson and Ava Hiland, nieces of the groom, were flower girls.

Best man for the groom was his cousin, Brady Tesner. Groomsmen were Shawnn Wilson, Nathan Mailach, Steve Winans, Dr. Vincent Marino and Nick Walko. Ushers were brothers-in-law Ward Judson and Mark Hiland. Cousins of the bride and nephew of the groom, Cody Ulbricht, Cade Ulbricht, and Bryce Judson, served as ring bearers.
The new Mrs. Veres holds a bachelor of science in nursing from Youngs-town State University and a master of science in nursing from Kent State University. She is a nurse in the post-anesthesia care unit at the Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman.
The groom is a graduate of Youngstown State University and the A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo. He completed a family practice residency at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngs-town and is now associated with his father in a private practice in family medicine in Warren.
After a honeymoon in the Turks and Caicos Islands, the couple resides in Howland.
