DEAR EDITOR:
I urge everyone to vote no on Issue 2.
Fewer firefighters can mean the difference between life and death for both the firefighters working hard to protect the public and to each one of us in the community who are in need of their help.
Plain and simple: Issue 2 takes away the firefighters' rights to negotiate for safety for everyone.
As the election draws near, I see those in favor of Issue 2 distort others' views on something they support with deliberate falsity. How could anyone think these certain politicians would have our best interest if they made all the decisions for the hard-working middle class?
It scares me to think what will happen if we allow the politicians in Columbus to make the decisions for our firefighters, police, teachers, nurses and people who are helping the people we care and love the most.
I ask voters to vote no on Issue 2.
