AUTISM AWARENESS CONFERENCE: The Potential Development Program and Help Hotline Crisis Center will hold an Autism Awareness conference on Friday at the Lake Club, Poland. The daylong event will feature speakers on various topics related to Autism Spectrum Disorder and offer 4.25 continuing education units to all participants.
The keynote speaker for this event will be Shonda Schilling. Schilling wrote a book, "The Best Kind of Different," chronicling her family's journey to her son Grant being diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome at the age of 7. Schilling will take questions from the audience and sign books for participants. She will speak at 11:45 a.m.
