Ed and Gloria Berish of Warren were honored by their family with a surprise dinner at the Chop House Restaurant for their 50th anniversary.
Hosting the event were the couple's five daughters and their families, Denise (Bernie) Thompson, Lisa (Jim) Wilson, Diane (Dave) Douce, Sandy (Lee) Hartman and Beth (Ed) Liebal. They also have six grandchildren.
The celebration continued with the entire family traveling to Hocking Hills in southern Ohio for a vacation together.

Ed and the former Gloria Delida were married Oct. 7, 1961, at Christ Our King Church in Warren.
Ed is a retired bricklayer and owner of Five Star Construction which was named in honor of his five daughters. Gloria is a homemaker.
Ed is a member of How Kola Sports Club and an avid fisherman. Gloria is a sports fan of all Cleveland teams and the Ohio State Buckeyes. They both enjoy trips to the casinos and spending time with their family.
