Bob and Millie Motz of Southington will celebrate their 65th anniversary on Oct. 5, 2011.
Mr. and Mrs. Motz were married Oct. 5, 1946, in Cleveland. They farmed for 16 years and still have the farm.
Mrs. Motz worked for the Polson Rubber Co. for 19 years and Mr. Motz worked for Standard Transformer for 18 years, until both companies closed and the couple moved to Clearwater, Fla.

Mr. Motz later retired from Quality Switch in Leavittsburg and Mrs. Motz retired in 1999 from Morton-Plant-Mease Hospital.
The couple are members of Southington United Methodist Church and Friendship United Metho-dist Church in Clearwater, Fla.
They have three sons, Robert (deceased), Gary (Frances) and Kenneth (Teresa). They also have five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
