Mr. and Mrs. Harry Salcone Sr. of Howland, left on Sept. 6, 2011, to celebrate their 50th anniversary in Paris, London and then aboard the Queen Mary II returning on Sept. 21.
A family dinner celebration took place Sept. 24 at Leo's Ristorante in Howland.
Harry and the former Patricia DeNunzio were married Sept. 23, 1961, at St. Mary's Church in Warren.

Harry served the U.S. Army in Germany and is a retired vice president of Mortgage Loans for Bank One. Patricia recently retired from the staff of the Notre Dame Schools Blessed Sacrament Campus as director of the After School Program.
They are members of Blessed Sacrament Parish.
The couple have five children, Michelle (Jim) Benich of Cortland, Harry (Lee) Salcone Jr. of Columbus, Angela (Rick) Lorenzi of Vienna, Juliann (Tim) Silker of Howland and Donna (Vince) Barrett of Cortland. They also have eight grandchildren.
