Dr. Kimberly Sanchez and Dr. Jeff Montieth of Akron were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held July 9, 2011, at St. Sebastian Parish. The Rev. Matthew Pfeiffer officiated.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Hilton Hotel, Fairlawn.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sanchez of Bath, formerly of Liberty.

Dr. Nicole Williams performed the duties of maid of honor for the bride. Bridesmaids were Taylor Summerfield, cousin of the bride; Dr. Allo Kukuzen; and Alicia Montieth, sister of the groom.
Performing the duties of best man for the groom was Adam Smith. Groomsmen were Dr. David Byers and Jeffrey Clark.
The new Mrs. Montieth graduated from Walsh University and received her medical degree from Northeast Ohio University College of Medicine, Rootstown. She is employed as a radiologist at The Cleveland Clinic, where she is completing her last year of a four-year residency program.
Dr. Montieth also received his medical degree from NEOUCOM. He is employed as an internal medicine specialist at St. Thomas Hospital in Akron.
The couple resides in Fairlawn.
