Megan E. Pappada and Aaron F. Taylor were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held July 16, 2011, at the groom's grandmother's home in Alexandria, Va. Cantor Sharon Steinberg officiated.
The bride is the daughter of MaryAnn and Walter Freedy of Warren and the late Dodie Pappada. Parents of the groom are Robert and Beth Taylor of Olney, Md.
Maribeth Albu attended her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Abbey Santiago, Annie Hanson, Michelle Hanak, sister of the bride, and Rachel Taylor, sister of the groom. Alexis Hanak, niece of the bride, served as a junior bridesmaid while Samantha Stern, cousin of the groom, and Olivia Albu, niece of the bride, were flower girls.

Erik Nielsen performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Dan Engler, Brian Tydings and Lenny Taylor, brother of the groom. Ben Stern, the groom's cousin, was the ring bearer.
The new Mrs. Taylor graduated from Lakeview High School in 2000, from the Ohio State University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in political science, from the University of Akron in 2007 with a master's degree in applied politics, and from the George Washington University in 2011 with a master's degree in special education.
Mr. Taylor graduated from James Hubert Blake High School in 2001 and from The University of Maryland in 2005 with bachelor's degrees in secondary English / theater education and theater.
Both are teachers for Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland.
Following honeymoons to Dominican Republic and Costa Rica, the couple resides in Rockville, Md.
