Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ruggieri Sr. of Warren, celebrated their 60th anniversary with family on Sept. 3, 2011.
Joseph Ruggieri and the former Eleanor Talanca were married Sept. 3,1951, at St. Mary Church in Warren.
Mr. Ruggieri is a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and retired from Van Huffel Tube Corp. as a machinist. Mrs. Ruggieri worked at the Golden Dawn grocery store and retired from Kozy Korner Candies.

The couple have two children, Joseph Jr. of Warren and Debra Jo of Mansfield. They also have two grandchildren and one adopted grandchild.
