On Aug. 28, 1971, John Ewankowich and the former Patricia Percich were married at St. Pius X.
The couple has been blessed with four daughters, Erica Ellis of Pennsylvania, Nichol O'Leary of Newton Falls, the late Jessica Ewankowich and the late Darlene Ewankowich. They have six grandchildren.
Mr. Ewankowich is retired from Exco Gas and Oil. Mrs. Ewankowich works at Magna Seating of Lordstown.
The Ewankowiches will celebrate their anniversary with a trip to Columbus.
