Julie M. Morris and Christopher D. Brister were married during a private wedding ceremony on Aug. 13, 2011, in Cortland. Officiating at the event was Pastor Chuck Gantz.
A reception was held following the ceremony at their home in Cortland.
Beth Brister attended the bride as the matron of honor. Olivia Larman served as the flower girl.

Performing the duties of the best man for the groom was William Kaster. Serving as the ring bearers were the bride and groom's sons, Hunter and Blake Brister.

Mr. Brister is a 2001 graduate of Lakeview High School. He is employed by Monro Muffler and Brake.
