BACK TO SCHOOL IMMUNIZATION CLINICS: The Trumbull County Health Department is announcing newly scheduled back to school immunization clinics for August at the Health Department.
The dates and times for the clinics are as follows: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. today, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and Aug. 30; and 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 31.
These clinics have been added to accommodate children who need vaccines for school. All vaccines will be available for kindergarten, seventh-grade entry and college entry. All clinics are walk-in.
There is an administration fee of $10 per visit but no one will be denied due to inability to pay. All children younger than 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Bring shot record with child.
GARDEN YOGA: The Ohio State University Extension, Trumbull County Agricultural and Family Education Center, 520 W. Main St., Cortland, is hosting Garden Yoga - Yoga at the Research, Education and Demonstration Gardens, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and Aug. 31.
Certified yoga instructor Dawn Perhacs will teach simple yoga postures and breathing and relaxation techniques. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat or blanket and a small pillow to each class.
