Mr. and Mrs. John Somich of Warren celebrated their 50th anniversary at a weekend gathering coordinated by their children at The Lodge at Geneva on the Lake on July 16, 2011.
John and the former Barbara Kravitz were married April 29, 1961, in Sharon, Pa.
They enjoy volunteering, traveling, dining out with friends and participating in various church activities.

The couple have three children, Kari (Jeff) Moroco of Transfer, Pa., Scott (Katherine) Somich of Plano, Texas, and John (Susan) Somich of Warren. They also have 10 grandchildren.
