Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Lucinda Morrison of Vienna are celebrating 69 years of marriage. The couple were married July 4, 1942, in Whitehaven, Pa.
Edward served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 478th Anti-Aircraft Battalion Battery B South Pacific Theatre from 1942 to 1945. He retired from H.K. Porter of Warren after 35 years of service.
The couple have 13 children, Harry Morrison of Warren, Joyce (Clyde) McAdams of Warren, Dorothea (Carl) Chalker of Vienna, Edward (Chris) Morrison Jr. of Brookfield, Sherry (Phil) Stegall of Newton Falls, Amy (Mark) Metheny of Liberty, Becky (Rick) Blose of Kinsman, Christina (Tim) Scott of Cortland, Tracy (Art) Murray of Southington and Chris (Sabrina) of Cortland. Marlene, Clement and Emerson Morrison are deceased.

They also have 33 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration is being held from noon to dusk on July 9 at the Churchill Park in Liberty. Friends are welcome to call.
