Mr. and Mrs. Ernest W. Grischow of Austintown were honored June 5, 2011, at a luncheon reception as they celebrated their 60th anniversary. The event, hosted by the couple's daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Jim Gifford, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Youngstown.
The couple celebrated their actual anniversary with a private family dinner.
Mr. Grischow and the former Bette Stiles were married at Immanuel Lutheran Church on June 9, 1951.

Mr. Grischow served with the U.S. Air Force in Greenland during World War II. He retired from Ameritech in 1991, after 40 years of service. He is a member of the church, a deacon and a member of the church council.
Mrs. Grischow worked as a bookkeeper at J.N. Pincus Co. in Youngstown. She is a member of the church and its Ladies Aid Society. She is a homemaker.
