The engagement and upcoming marriage of Amanda B. Loomis and Barry J. Franks are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Loomis of Warren.
Parents of the groom-elect are Joanne Franks of Youngstown and Barry A. Franks of Farrell, Pa.
Miss Loomis is employed as a phlebotomist at Sharon Regional Health Systems.

Mr. Franks graduated from ITT Tech in 2005 with an associate's degree in information technology computer network systems and will graduate this spring from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is employed as a senior program supervisor for InfoCision Management Corp.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held June 18, 2011, at St. Christine Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow.
