Mr. and Mrs. John Stanley are celebrating their 70th anniversary with their family at the home of their daughter, Jane List.
They were married May 10, 1941, at St. Hedwig's Church in Akron.
John is a retired milk hauler and auctioneer. He also was a trustee for Parkman for 25 years.

Jean has worked helping out at St. Edward's Church and at the Hattie Larlham organization.
They both belong to St. Edward's Church in Parkman.
The couple have three children, Jane of Middlefield and Jeanette B. Oyk and Jack Stanley, both deceased. They also have nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and raised two foster boys, James Griswold and Jack Bosak.
