Elizabeth A. Allison and Ryland J. Mathews were married during a wedding ceremony held on Jan. 11, 2011, at Lighthouse Beach on Sanibel Island, Fla.
The event was officiated by Laura Walker.
A reception was held at McMenamy's in Niles on Jan. 28, 2011.

The bride is the daughter of Melinda and Douglas Johnson of Lordstown. The groom is the son of Bonnie and Jeff Mathews of Kinsman.
The new Mrs. Mathews is a 2004 graduate of Lordstown High School. She received an associate degree in physical therapy assisting from Kent State University and a bachelor's degree in physical education and a minor in biology from Youngstown State University. She is pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy at the University of Findlay and is a physical therapy assistant with TuDor Therapy Centers in Columbiana.
Mr. Mathews, a 2004 graduate of Badger High School, received a bachelor's degree in English. He is employed with Verizon Wireless.
Following a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple resides in Austintown.
