Alex and Elsie Kish marked their 50th anniversary by renewing their vows at Messiah Lutheran Church in Newton Falls on March 12. Presiding was their grandson, John Coleman, a Methodist minister.
The Kishes were married March 11, 1961, at the church.
Mr. Kish served in the Army, then worked and retired from LTV Steel for 46 years. He is a Democratic Central Party committeeman.

The Kishes enjoy traveling, being involved with the VFW and the American Legion. They received resolutions from the Trumbull County commissioners, from U.S. Rep. Timothy Ryan and state Rep. Sean O'Brien.
Mrs. Kish enjoys her flowers, especially in the spring.
A luncheon was set up by their daughter Carol. The luncheon was provided by Wanda Thompson and Cheryl Waldorf.
The Kishes have six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
