Kelly Lynn Cody and Emery Edgar Wyatt II were united in marriage during a private wedding ceremony held Jan. 1, 2011, on the beach in Virginia Beach, Va.
A weekend of celebration is planned in June 2011 at Ace Rafting in Oak Hill, W.Va.
Parents of the groom are Linda Wyatt of Bristolville and Dr. Carl Wyatt of Boaz, Ala. He is also the grandson of Louise Durst of Bristolville.

Mr. Wyatt is employed as a modeling and simulation program developer for IDSI in Suffolk, Va.
The new Mrs. Wyatt is a junior accountant with the U.S. Coast Guard Exchange in Chesapeake, Va.
The couple resides in Suffolk, Va.
