Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sarsany Sr. celebrated their 50th anniversary Nov. 27, 2010, with a blessing ceremony celebrated by the Rev. Andrew Deskovich at SS. Peter and Paul Church in Warren. Dinner and dancing followed in the church social hall, hosted by the couple's children.
Paul and the former Saundra Lee Noderer were married Nov. 12, 1960, in SS. Peter and Paul Church, officiated by the Rev. Michael Evanick.
They have lived in Champion for the past 48 years and are members of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church.

The couple have four children, Paul Jr. (Brenda), Kevin (Linda), Tim, and Lesley (Alvin) Austin. They also have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Paul retired from Wean Manufacturing, where he was a machinist. Sandy retired from Trumbull Memorial Hospital, where she was a registered nurse.
This summer, the couple will continue their anniversary celebration with a cruise through the Panama Canal.
