THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY is looking for volunteers to help with its inaugural fashion show, to be held on a weekday in August at a local establishment. The date and location have not yet been determined.
Adult volunteers are needed to help organize the event by serving on the committee, to model clothing provided by EJ Hannah and to perform a variety of tasks the day of the event.
So far, the event will include lunch, a fashion show, a shopping boutique and raffle items. The theme will be determined by the committee, but it will focus on improving the health of women and how women can reduce their risk of cancer.
