Kristi Lynne Hickman and Matthew Hunter Veit were united in marriage at a spring wedding ceremony held May 8, 2010, at United Methodist Church in Bexley. Pastor Stephen Van Dop officiated the wedding.
The bride and groom were honored after the ceremony at a reception at Tartan East Golf Club in New Albany.
The bride is the daughter of Gregory and Karen Golias of Bazetta, and Richard and Charise Hickman of Lenexa, Kan. Parents of the groom are Otto and Valeria Veit of Toledo.

Kelly Adamson attended the bride as maid of honor, while BreAnne Crouch served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Heidi Petrilla, cousin of the bride, and Tara Arcade, Casey Roberts, Staci Rue, Jill Westerfeld and Madison Menz. Isabel and Olivia Petrilla, cousins of the bride, served as flower girls.
Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Andrew Veit. Groomsmen were Travis Hickman, brother of the bride, and Charles Crouch, Dave Fladung, Serge Guillot, Addison Hollands, Stuart Thomas and Eric Yuhasz. Drew Tumidolsky served as the ring bearer.
The new Mrs. Veit graduated from Lakeview High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in communication from The Ohio State University and an MBA from San Diego State University. She is employed at a financial investment firm.
Mr. Veit is a graduate from St. John's Jesuit High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Toledo University. He is an UH-60 helicopter pilot for the Ohio Army National Guard.
Following a honeymoon to Maui and Kaua'i, Hawaii, the couple resides in Columbus.
