Ken Vesey honored his wife of 55 years, Delores, at a surprise reception on Dec. 4, 2010, at theVictorian Ballroom in Niles.
Mr. Vesey and the former Delores (Toots) Spurk were married Dec. 15, 1955.
The reception was co-hosted by the couple's children, Pam Brooker of Westerville and Doug (Amy) Vesey of Galloway. They also have a son Todd (deceased) and five grandchildren.

Mr. Vesey retired in 1997 from Kmart Distribution Center after nine years and was employed at ITT Grinnell for 33 years. Mrs.Vesey was employed at Packard Electric for nine years and is a member of Champion Christian Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Vesey enjoy dancing, playing cards and watching Ohio State sporting events.
