Mr. and Mrs. Donald G Murphy of Cortland celebrated their 60th anniversary on Dec. 2, 2010, and were the honored couple at an open house hosted by their sons Douglas, Bruce, George and their nephew Larry Sanfrey at Doug's home in Cortland.
Their best man, Richard Murphy of North Carolina and their maid of honor, Carolyn Lander were able to attend.
The couple have seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Donald G. Murphy and the former Grace Kelley were married on Dec. 2, 1950, in Leavittsburg.
Donald is a retired tool and die maker from Delphi Packard. He was a Bazetta Township trustee and Bazetta fire chief. Grace was a member of the Lakeview School Board and a homemaker.
They enjoy traveling in their RV.
