Mr. and Mrs. Robert Conner of Niles were honored during a surprise 60th wedding anniversary celebration on Oct. 23, 2010.
Robert Conner and the former Phyllis Rudy were married Nov. 18, 1950.
Mr. Conner is a 1992 retired employee of RMI. His favorite pastimes are his family, friends and singing.

Mrs. Conner is a devoted wife and mother of four children, Linda (Homer) Parsons, Sandy (William) Moss, Bob (Joyce) Conner and Patty (Jeffrey) Hovanic. They have nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
They enjoy spending quality time together at SCOPE of Niles, where they hang out with their friends.
They also have been members of Faith Baptist Church of Niles for more than 44 years.
