The wedding of Roxanne Lynn Smith and Dennis Gregory Riportella Jr. was held Oct. 2, 2010, at Fowler United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ruth Roth officiated.
The couple accepted congratulations during an evening reception that was held at the Mahoning Country Club in Girard.
The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Regina McAlister of Fowler. The groom is the son of Dennis Riportella Sr. of Fairmont, N.C., and the late Carolyn Riportella.

Maid of honor was Melanie Gadley, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Zoe Carpenter, great-niece of the groom. Bridesmaids were Haley Smith, daughter of the bride, Amy Graham, friend of the bride, Deena McAlister, sister-in-law of the bride, and Theresa Hammond, sister of the groom.
Douglas Downing, brother-in-law of the groom, served as the best man while Jacob McAlister, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Groomsmen were Jeffrey Smith Jr., son of the bride, Anthony Dheil, friend of the groom, James McAlister, brother of the bride, and William Hassenplug, friend of the groom.
The bride is a financial analyst at First Place Bank in Warren and the groom is a truck driver for Kaleel Brothers in Boardman. They live in Hartford with the children of the bride and their three dogs.
