Jessica Lynn Mendik and Kevin Paul Miller were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held May 15, 2010, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Cortland. Officiating the event was the Rev. Carl Kish.
A reception was held following the ceremony at Avalon Lakes Golf and Country Club at Squaw Creek in Vienna.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mendik of Fowler. Parents of the groom are the late Patricia Timko, the late Wallace Miller Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Armentrout of Hartford.

Danielle Heer and Deena Robinson shared the duties of matron of honor for their sister. Bridesmaids were Morgan Hartzell, Michelle Weir, Alesha Perry, Elizabeth Bernhard, Kristy Dopp and Cheri Fricker. Evie Henkel, goddaughter of the bride, and Marie-Louise Heer, niece of the bride, shared the duties of flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Wallace Miller III. Groomsmen were Kyle Nashtock, cousin of the groom; Rob Mendik, brother of the bride; Mike Robinson, brother-in-law of the bride; Chris Balla, Justin Berhard, Tom Reese and Alex Dopp. Bradyn Balla, godson of the bride and groom, and Conrad Miller, nephew of the groom, shared the duties of ring bearer.
The new Mrs. Miller is a 1998 graduate of Mathews High School, receiving bachelor's degrees in finance and economics from Kent State University in 2002 and a Master of Business Administration degree in accounting in 2006. She is employed with Nationwide Insurance.
Mr. Miller, also a 1998 graduate of Mathews, earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Youngstown State university in 2004. He is employed with Travelers Insurance.
Following a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Columbus.
