YOGA FOR A CURE, a "Yoga Thon" to raise money for the new Comprehensive Breast Care Center being constructed at St. E's downtown, is being held 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 20, at Woodland's 1525 E.Western Reserve Road, Poland. Yogis and yoginnis from around town will be holding classes at all levels. Vendors in jewelry, accessories, and Living Food demonstrations presented by master chef Na Young will also be available.

LOVING OUTREACH SURVIVING SUICIDE (LOSS) AND SURVIVORS OF SUICIDE OF HELP HOTLINE (SOS) will hold the 12th annual Candlelight Vigil, in remembrance of loved ones who died by suicide, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, at St. Pius X Church, 1401 Moncrest N.W., Warren. Anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide is welcome and encouraged to bring photos or signs.

THE WARREN CITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT has influenza vaccine available for children ages 6 months to 18 years of age. The vaccine will be given at regular childhood clinics Nov. 22, Dec. 6 and Dec. 20. The walk-in clinic hours are from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. The cost is $5. Unison and CareSource are also accepted. Parents should accompany children and bring their shot record.

Adult influenza vaccine is also available by appointment. Cost of the vaccine is $20. Pneumonia vaccine is also available free of charge to those who qualify.

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 3654 Main St., Mineral Ridge, will offer a flu shot clinic from noon to 2 p.m. on Nov. 28, for anyone in the community age 14 and older. The cost for the shots will depend on how many people sign up. If there are fewer than 20 people, the cost will be $29.95 or $24.99 if there are more than 20. Those with Medicare and Medicaid will be free.

Preregistration is necessary if you have insurance coverage. You can get an application at the church during office hours Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or on Sunday morning. SouthernCare hospice is honored hospice professionals and volunteers to celebrate National Hospice Month with a "BLESSING OF THE HANDS" on Wednesday, at the Boardman Park Community Center.

The second annual "Blessing of the Hands" celebration pays tribute to caregivers who are dedicated to providing physical, spiritual and emotional support to terminally ill patients. SouthernCare is hosting the event with an open house at 5 p.m. for anyone wanting more information about hospice. The service will begin at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a reception.

THE MAHONING VALLEY FIBROMYALGIA SUPPORT GROUP will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman. The meeting will feature open discussion night.
