Erica Lynn Housel and Andrew Frank Thornton were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held July 3, 2010, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hudson. The Rev. Edward Kordas officiated.
A reception was held following the ceremony at Leo's Ristorante in Howland.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Vickie Housel of Champion. Parents of the groom are Russell and Mary Thornton of Summerville, S.C.

Aeriole Sayers attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Thornton, cousin of the groom, Krissy Ciminero, Kristy Thornton, sister-in-law of the groom, and Audrey Marsh.
Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Russell Thornton. Groomsmen were David Thornton, brother of the groom; Blake Housel, brother of the bride; and Matthew Vadas and Kevin Shifflet. Alexzander Thornton, nephew of the groom and godchild of the bride and groom, served as ring bearer.
The new Mrs. Thornton is a 2003 graduate of Champion High School and a 2007 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting. She is employed as a senior associate for McGladrey and Pullen in Cleveland.
Mr. Thornton graduated from Maplewood High School in 2002 and is a 2009 graduate of Kent State University, where he received a bachelor of business administration in management. He is the owner of Synergy Fire and Security in Streetsboro.
Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Streetsboro.
