The Champion Local School District is starting the annual PROJECT WALK WARM from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday today through April 1 at Champion Middle School. Local author and counselor Marilyn Burns of Boardman will sign her BOOK, "Lost No More A Mother's Spiritual Journey Through Her Son's Addiction" from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Downtown Coffee Cafe, 29 Main St., Hubbard. The second annual MIRACLES AND PROMISES RADIOTHON raised $149,840 for Akron Children's Hospital of the Mahoning Valley. Money raised stays in the Mahoning Valley to benefit local children and families. More than 400 of volunteers participated by staffing the phone banks and helping with Children's FunFest activities.
