Former Warren residents, Virgil and Veronica Carmen recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.
Virgil Carmen and the former Veronica Toparchon were united in marriage on Oct. 22, 1960, by the Rev. E.J. Saylor at the Warren Church of God.
Mr. Carmen is retired from General Motors Corp. in Lordstown.

Mrs. Carmen is retired from General Electric. She also worked for 10 years at the Warren Christian Preschool.
While living in Warren both Mr. and Mrs. Carmen were active members at the First Assembly of God Church.
They have one son Wade Carmen of Cleveland, Tenn.
Mr. and Mrs. Carmen now reside in Clevland, Tenn.
