THE 82nd AIRBORNE DIVISION ASSOCIATION holds regular meetings, picnics, dinner-dances, mini-reunions and an annual national convention and marches in local parades and sponsors a special school program about World War I for its history classes. Membership has veterans from the 11th, 13th, 17th, 82nd, 101st and today's special forces. Combat is not a requirement, only the wings earned through hard work and dedication. NEWTON FALLS HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1970 will celebrate its 40th reunion with a two-day event Oct. 1 and 2. Former classmates will meet at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at the high school football field on state Route 534. After being admitted free, members will be seated as a group.
