THE 84th ANNUAL NORTH BLOOMFIELD ALUMNI BANQUET was held May 1 at St. Williams Church in Champion. Betty Starr, president, welcomed 175 members and guests. Candles were lit as the name of each member who passed away since last year's event was read.
Since there were no nominations for new offices from the floor, the same offices were voted elected, except the president and vice president reverse.

Members coming the furthest distance to attend the banquet were Toni McGraw of Gaithersburg, Md., and Kevin Cromwell of Thurmont, Md.
The oldest member present was Wilma Reeves, from the class of 1938.
The 50/50 raffle was won by Anton Klecha. The door prize was won by Amico Mariana, who presented them to the oldest member present, Reeves.
Former teachers recognized were Ruth Parker, James Sampson, Ronald Knight, Mary Fenton. Current teachers who attended were Nancy Sampson, Terri Smith and Marti Klosinski.
D.J. Bill Cook provided dancing music, and the dinner was served by ladies of the church.
