Agency to hold grief workshop

Catholic Charities Regional Agency will present three grief recovery workshops at 1 p.m. Jan. 25, and Feb. 1 and 8 at their Warren office, 175 Laird Ave. N.E.

The one-hour sessions, conducted by Catholic Charities Regional Agency family support workers, are free and conducted by a licensed counselor. Topics are ''The Grief Process and Grief Journey,'' ''Stages and Emotions of Grief,'' ''Circumstances that affect Grief,'' and ''Self-help Strategies and Additional Resources.''

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY of Trumbull County is seeking help from residents and other organizations to clean up the city and county.

A Neighborhood Stabilization Program has been implemented. Skilled and unskilled persons can help with cleaning up and renovating homes. Donations also are needed.

Habitat is also looking to start a restore facility needing someone who will be willing to help stock the store and help get it open.

Tod's Crossings, 1330 Blakely Circle S.W., Warren, is hosting a FREE SEMINAR at noon Wednesday featuring Virginia Holmes of the Foster Grandparent program. Lunch is provided at no charge. Reservations are required.

Seniors 55 and older can help a child improve their reading skills by becoming a Foster Grandparent. Seniors visit the children at local schools, day care and after-school programs.
