NEW HOURS: The McKinley Memorial Library hours of operation are 9 A.M. to 8 P.M. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The McKinley Museum is open for visitors when the library is open. To make sure there is enough time to look around the museum, be sure to arrive at least one hour before the Library closes.
MCKINLEY BIRTHPLACE HOME HOURS: The Birthplace Home will be Open in September and October Every Saturday from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. In October and November Open on the first Sunday of the month from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M.
ROMANCE READERS' BOOK CLUB: The Romance Readers Book Club will meet on Sept. 17, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. in the McKinley Memorial Auditorium. The books to be discussed are: Seduced by His Touch by Tracey Anne Warren, Breaking Loose by Tara Janzen, and Hunt Her Down by Roxanne St. Claire. INTERNET ACCESS: The McKinley Memorial Library offers free Internet use, available on Library computers, and Wi-Fi access to those with laptops. Computers may be used for up to 2 hours a day, to patrons with a valid library card from either McKinley Memorial Library or another TiPL library. Fines on a patrons card must not exceed $5.00.
INTERNET ACCESS FOR CHILDREN: Children must have a valid Library Card. To obtain one, a parent or legal guardian must bring in identification with a current address listed. Children, the age of 12 or under, must have a parent with them in order to use the Internet. Fines on a patrons card must not exceed $5.00.
Printing is available on computers at a cost of $0.10 for black and white, and $0.25 for color.
