THE TRUMBULL COUNTY NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR THE ELDERLY provides a well-balanced meal and the opportunity for socialization. Any senior citizen, age 60 and over and spouses of persons age 60 and over are welcome for lunch at the United Steelworkers Hall, 1265 N. Thursday: Grilled chicken with gravy, spinach, au gratin potatoes, rye bread with margarine, diced peaches or unsweetened diced peaches
Friday: Vegetable lasagna, peas, diced carrots, Italian bread with margarine, diced pears or unsweetened pears
Monday: Jumbo hot dog on a bun with ketchup and mustard packets, baked bean quintet, broccoli cuts diced peaches or unsweetened peaches
Tuesday: Johnny Marzetti, peas, hot applesauce, Italian bread with margarine, parmesan cheese packet, grape juice
Sept. 16: Chicken quarter, scalloped potatoes, glazed carrots wheat bread with margarine, Mandarin oranges or unsweetened Mandarin oranges, birthday cake or angel food cake
Sept. 17: Southwest meatloaf, mashed squash, green beans, rye bread with margarine, pineapple tidbits
Sept. 18: Turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables wheat bread with margarine, mixed fruit or unsweetened mixed fruit
All meals are served with skim milk, two percent milk or buttermilk
