Aug. 24

10 p.m. - Police took a miscellaneous report at 273 Darlington Road N.E.

6:40 p.m. - There was a juvenile shoplifter reported at 8202 East Market St. at Giant Eagle.

4 p.m. - There was a domestic dispute at 3860 Elm Road N.E.

1 p.m. - There was a misuse of a credit card at Huntington Bank at 1796 Niles Cortland Road.

11:30 a.m. - Police took an informational report at 3902 Valacamp Road.

11:05 a.m. - A vehicle at an intersection on Howland Springs Road backed into another vehicle.

11:04 a.m. - Police took an informational report at 8126 Castle Rock Drive N.E.

10 a.m. - A vehicle parked at Chase Bank got its gas pedal stuck and went over a curb, striking a small tree at 3394 Elm Road.

10 a.m. - Prescription drugs were stolen at 1708 Niles Cortland Road.

8 a.m. - There was a domestic dispute at 626 Brentwood Drive N.E.

8 a.m. Several appliances were stolen from an apartment at 2210 North Road S.E.

Aug. 23

9:56 p.m. - There was a shoplifter at Super Kmart at 2100 Niles Cortland Road.

7:20 p.m. - There was a domestic dispute at 693 Thorn Drive N.E.

5:55 p.m. - There was a custody dispute at 864 North Road.

4 p.m. - Nasser Hamad, of 1564 Niles Cortland Road, was charged with domestic violence and discharge of a weapon into a home at 8722 Warwick Road S.E.

1 p.m. - A bicycle was stolen from a residence at 3717 Crestview Ave. S.E.

9:30 a.m. - There was a report of criminal damaging and trespassing at 3885 Fairlawn Heights Drive.

3:20 a.m. - Mark A. Cheeks, of 1450 Prospect Street in Mineral Ridge, was arrested on a warrant through the Niles Police Department and was charged with driving under suspension, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and rules for driving within marked lines at Niles Road and Deforest.

1:01 a.m. - Randy D. Busch, 2655 Fairview Ave., was charged with domestic violence.

Aug. 22

5:54 p.m. - Jae J. Vanness, 3266 Wilson Ave., was arrested on an active warrant for larceny through the Niles Police Department.

3:40 p.m. - There was an assault at 8200 South St.

3:02 a.m. - Larry W. Armes of 1614 Weston Ave., Youngstown, was charged with possessing drug paraphernalia and a headlight violation following a stop at Niles and Ridge Roads.

1:36 a.m. - Police assisted liquor control agencies with a subject at East Market Street and state Route 82.

12:30 a.m. - There was an assault involving a juvenile at 7934 Sutton Place N.E.

12:30 a.m. - There was a report involving a juvenile at 4235 Sunnybrook Drive.

Aug. 21

11 p.m. - A GPS system was stolen at a vehicle parked at the Fairfield Inn at 1860 Niles Cortland Road.

10:30 p.m. - There was an attempted burglary at 3975 Fairlawn Heights.

9 p.m. - A wallet was stolen from a vehicle at 8573 Red Oak Drive N.E.

7:45 p.m. - There was a domestic dispute at 642 Brentwood Ave. N.E.

7:11 p.m. - Duvon Noble, 710 Rex Blvd., Warren, was charged with not having a license, and Rashaan Shipp of the same address was charged with obstructing justice and resisting arrest following a stop at 4230 East Market St.

3 p.m. - A bowling ball bag was stolen from a garage at 6018 Mines Road S.E.

1:30 p.m. - Someone was going through a mailbox at 1207 Summerfield N.E.

12:36 p.m. - Menacing was reported at 7677 Brookwood Drive N.E.

12:15 p.m. - Daniel E. Polivka, 160 Country Club Drive S.E., Warren, was charged with domestic violence at 9794 East Market St.

10:35 a.m. - There was a two-vehicle collision in the Home Depot, 1900 Niles Cortland Road.

2 a.m. - There was a locked vehicle in the Fairfield Inn at 1860 Niles Cortland Road which was broken into and a stereo and a set of golf clubs were taken.

Aug. 20

6:26 p.m. - A vehicle approaching Niles Cortland Road from Mines failed to stop at a red light.

6 p.m. - A vehicle which was stolen from Leon's and later found at Tru-North Gas Station at 1111 Niles Cortland Road N.E.

3:50 p.m. - There was a shoplifter at Kohl's Department Store at 2350 Niles Cortland Road.

3:30 p.m. - Police took an informational report at 2011 Ocerland Ave. N.E.

3 p.m. - Police assisted the Fire Department with a possible gas leak at 6094 Mines Road S.E.

1:37 p.m. - There was an alarm drop at 9425 Bayhill Drive.

9:58 a.m. - There was a two-vehicle collision on Larchmont.

9:58 a.m. - Telephone harassment at 2719 Fairview Ave. S.E.

Aug. 19

3 p.m. - A domestic dispute was reported at 1505 Woodhill Drive N.E.

12:45 p.m. - A domestic dispute involving a juvenile was reported at 347 Springbrook Drive N.E.

2:23 a.m. - William D. Clapp, 402 E. Main, Brewster, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a stop along East Market St.

Aug. 18

9 p.m. - Daniel G. Sorvillo, 3895 Crestview Drive, Warren, was charged with domestic violence.

8:15 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at Super Kmart.

7 p.m. - There was a shoplifter reported at Super Kmart.

5:56 p.m. - Amanda L. Hallas, 3228 Wilson Ave., and Stephen Vucco of the same address both were charged with domestic violence.

3:30 p.m. - There was a shoplifter at Super Kmart.

3 p.m. - Police took an informational report at 3082 Draper Ave. S.E.

2:49 p.m. - An unoccupied vehicle at Super Kmart was struck by another vehicle.

9:50 a.m. - There was a two-vehicle rear end collision at North Road.

Aug. 17

11:39 p.m. - Jason E. Clark, 30 S. Navarre Ave., Youngstown, was charged with having an open container in a moving vehicle, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under the influence of alcohol and lanes of travel on roadways along Dietz Road.

7:30 p.m. - Public indecency was reported at 7111 East Market St.

6:30 p.m. - Aggravated menacing was reported at 2075 Weir Road N.E., Apt. 46.

6:12 p.m. - There was a two-vehicle parking lot collision at 8202 E. Market St.

5:30 p.m. - There was a domestic dispute at 3902 Valacamp.

5 p.m. - Toni A. Angelo of 1594 Sheridan Road N.E. was charged with possesion of drug paraphernalia and was also cited with shoplifting at Kohl's Department Store.

5 p.m. - There was a death prior to arrival at 2144 North River Road.

4:30 p.m. - There was a shoplifter reported at Giant Eagle.

2 p.m. - A juvenile ran away but returned home at 8537 King Graves Road.

12:25 p.m. - Someone used a fire hydrant to wash off demolition equipment at 7100 Block Mines Road S.E.

11 a.m. - Violation of a protection order was reported at 8150 Kenyon Drive S.E.

Aug. 16

8:40 p.m. - There was a shoplifter reported at Super Kmart.

6:50 p.m. - There was a shoplifter reported at Dollar General at 3810 Elm Road N.E.

6:20 p.m. - There was a shoplifter at Kohl's Department Store.

1:48 p.m. - Police took an informational report at 3930 Northwood Drive S.E.

3:22 a.m. - There was a domestic dispute at 2933 Niles Road S.E.

2:50 a.m. - Samuel N. Comanescu Jr., 2860 W. Liberty St., Girard, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving left of center following a stop at Elm Road and Wilson.

2:05 a.m. - Jessica L. Heginbotham of 240 Monroe St. was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving left of center at Niles Road and Ridge Road.

2 a.m. - A residence at 2054 North Road S.E. was entered and a go-kart and a Honda bike were stolen.

Aug. 15

7 p.m. - There was a custody dispute at 122 Westwind.

5 p.m. - A residence was entered and an urn filled with coins was stolen at 1109 Patchen Ave. S.E.

4:19 p.m. - Menacing and threats were reported at 1841 Niles Cortland Road N.E.

3:42 p.m. - There was an unoccupied vehicle that was struck by another vehicle at Super Kmart.

2:52 p.m. - There was a shoplifter at Super Kmart.

1:04 p.m. - There was a four-wheeler collision along Pine Street.

11 a.m. - There was an unruly juvenile and a report of telephone harassment at 2448 Johnny Cake Road.

7:30 a.m. - A residence was entered at collector coins and jewelry was stolen at 1109 Patchen Ave. S.E.

2:57 a.m. - Vehicles were parked on a lawn, damaging it at 2386 East Point Drive S.E.

12:05 a.m. - People broke four windows at 3548 Birchwood Ave. N.E.

Aug. 14

11:31 p.m. - There was a shoplifter at Super Kmart.

11 p.m. - There was an unwanted person at Mayfair Laundromat.

5 p.m. - A vehicle parked in a driveway was hit by another vehicle.

3 p.m. - A bike was stolen from a garage at 2300 Fairgreen Ave. N.E.

1:30 p.m. - A purse was stolen from 2311 Elm Road N.E.

12:20 p.m. - A vehicle hit a metal light pole in a parking lot at 3832 Elm Road.

10:14 a.m. - A vehicle attempting to change lanes struck another vehicle on East Market Street.

Aug. 13

8:55 p.m. - Diane M. Candella, 8396 Anderson Ave., was charged with domestic violence.

3:15 p.m. Child endangering was reported at 3824 Elm Road N.E.

1:20 p.m. - There was a two-vehicle collision at Super Kmart.

12:30 p.m. - There was a report of a protection order violation at 8150 Kenyon Drive S.E.

11:10 a.m. - Aggravated menacing was reported at 2075 Weir Road, Apt. Lot 2.

Aug. 12

7:55 p.m. - Stephen Limbeck, of 877 Kennilworth S.E., was charged with receiving stolen property from Dollar General.

5:10 p.m. - There was a two-vehicle collision in a parking lot at 8202 E. Market St.

3:50 p.m. - Police took an informational report at 2100 Niles Cortland Road.

1:08 p.m. - A vehicle's windows were smashed out at 3454 Birchwood Ave. S.E.

12:54 p.m. - There was a two vehicle accident at 1950 Niles Cortland Road.

8:30 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at 2202 Larchmont Ave. N.E.

1:29 a.m. - A vehicle jumped into gear while running unattended and hit a brick pillar at Giant Eagle.

12:50 a.m. - Petty theft involving a juvenile was reported at 584 Rosegarden Drive.
