The third annual ''end of summer'' parade and car show was held Aug. 15 in downtown Girard. The parade, which included floats, decorated bikes, classic cars and marching bands, traveled from Churchill Road, along State Street and ended at Liberty Street.
The Kidz Kastle preschool presented characters from the Wizard of Oz. Pictured from left are: Jessica Stephney as Dorothy; Nadine Reid as Glenda the Good Witch; Amanda Herrick as the Scarecrow; Roxanne Stevens as the Tin Man; and Kelly Hecker as the Cowardly Lion.
