THE 132nd OHL FAMILY REUNION, descendents of Henry Ohl-1709, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Ohltown United Methodist Church, 2001 Ohltown Road, Mineral Ridge.
Young people must attend two business meetings to qualify for scholarship. Those who applied last year should bring a copy of their latest report card or grade transcript for the scholarship committee.
The secretary asks to be notified of births, deaths, marriages and any other special events for the family records. Those who cannot attend are asked to right. Also, send changes of address with zip code, phone number and e-mail to be included in the address book.

THE JACKSON MILTON ALUMNI ASSOCIATION is announcing plans for the first Alumni Weekend to be held Labor Day Weekend 2009 to commemorate the opening of the new high school and the retirement of the old building.
An invitation is extended to everyone, no matter how many (or few) years attended JM, and also to all school staff and employees, and all residents of North Jackson and Lake Milton.
On Sept. 4, tailgate before the game starts at 5 p.m. Commemorative T-shirts are available for $15 and include tailgating and game admission. Building tours will be given from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 5, and from 7 to 9 p.m. attendants will meet for a social at the "original" JMHS.

MATHEWS HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1969 is holding its 40th year class reunion. Activities are scheduled for Sept. 4, 5 and 6.
On Sept. 4, classmates will meet in the room next to the lounge in Alberini's restaurant at 7 p.m. This is an informal gathering to break the ice. On Sept. 5 the reunion will be at Alberini's Restaurant in Niles. A family picnic will be held Sept. 6 at the Vienna Methodist Church pavilion.
