The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home is collecting tattered and worn American flags to be burned.
Ashes of burned flags will be collected in an urn to be buried in a solemn ceremony in the veterans section of Niles City Cemetery.
Those wishing to turn in tattered flags can take them to the funeral home at 457 Robbins Ave.
