Community paper has a new look

April 13, 2009
By KATHLEEN EVANOFF

Welcome to the new Howland Community News. We hope you will enjoy browsing through the pages and learning more about your community.

The purpose of the newspaper is to bring news to you about your community, but in order to do that, we need your help.

We welcome any news about the community that you can provide, including information about clubs, schools, society and local entertainment.

The Howland Community News will welcome new businesses into the community. We want to print your society news, including weddings, engagements, anniversaries and reunions.

Photos and press releases can be sent to us a number of ways to make it as convenient as possible for you to get your news to us. Fax to 330-841-1717; e-mail to kevanoff@tribtoday.com; U.S. post to Girard Community News, C/O Tribune Chronicle, 240 Franklin St., 44482; or call 330-841-1739.

We are committed to making the Howland Community Newspaper an informational resource for your community, and we hope you enjoy reading it as much we enjoy publishing it for you.

The Howland Community News is distributed the second Monday of each month. Be sure to look for it in your community.
