Mr. and Mrs. David A. Wood of Warren recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with their family at a special gathering at The Chophouse in Howland.
David and Deloris were married Oct. 25, 1958, in St. Mary's Church, Warren, officiated by Father Mark Zwick.
A Navy veteran, Mr. Wood retired from Copperweld Steel in 1991 after 37 years. He now works for AVI Foodsystems and is known in the Warren area as a bartender.

Mrs. Wood retired from Packard Electric in 1986 after more than 31 years.
The event was hosted by the couple's daughters, Patty Wills and Sandy Wood; son-in-law, Tom; and their two granddaughters.
