Young inventors
After studying Ohio inventors, fourth-grade pupils at McGuffey School created inventions of their own, which were on display Wednesday at Western Reserve Middle School. More than 165 visitors came to see the projects, which included this self-feeding dog feeder observed by Natalie Hall, 9, Autumn Hunter, 9, and Marissa Hunter-Haun, 11. In the back is Taya Binford, 10. Other inventions were a spinning ice cream cone, which moves when eating and a magnetic gripper for picking up items off the floor.
