Born March 25, 1978, in Warren, he was the son of Joseph Robert and Florence Meleanos Aston of Warren.
A 1996 graduate of LaBrae High School, Joe was employed by Dukes Sanitary as a laborer.
He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed music. Football was his favorite and the Pittsburgh Steelers were his team!
As a devoted father, Joe liked to spend his time with his family.
Joseph will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Jennifer Klingensmith Aston of Warren, whom he married Feb. 16, 2007; a son, Evan Joseph Aston; and stepdaughter, Taylor Renee Perkins, both at home; his parents, Joseph and Florence Aston; brother, Pete Aston of Warren; father and mother-in-law, William and Brenda Klingensmith of Niles; sisters-in-law, Jamie Klingensmith of Warren and Jessica Klingensmith of Niles; brother-in-law, Jason Klingensmith of Niles; maternal grandmother, Josephine Meleanos of Mineral Ridge; paternal grandparents, Isaac and Evelyn Aston of Windham; uncles, Mack (Louise) Aston of Warren, Tim (Dee) Aston of Champion and Pete Meleanos of Indiana; his aunt, ‘‘Minnie’’ (Jerry) Horvath of Lordstown; a special cousin, Robin; and several nieces, nephew and cousins.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Collin Roberts will conduct a funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Pineview Memorial Park.
